Orcinus orca (Killer Whale)

Observed in the Hyacinthe Bay Stewardship Area (2019).

BC List: There are 6 populations of orca in BC waters; at least three of these are known to spend some time in the waters around the Discovery Islands. Five of the six populations are red-listed, the sixth is unlisted.
