    Below, the same locomotive at the Granite Bay log dump on the southeast end of the bay. A log has just been pulled off the railcar and rolled down the skid, creating a splash of water to the far right. (Burnaby Village Museum)

    Below, the BC Mills Timber and Trading Company’s “Old Curly,” likely in the Granite Bay area circa 1912-1914 (Burnaby Village Museum). Old Curly’s number plate was a “3”.
