  • New estimate of amount of old forest that would naturally occur on Quadra Islad

    This is page 52 of the 2020 Interim Assessment Protocol for Forest Biodiversity in British Columbia. It shows the return interval for a stand replacing event is now estimated as 700 years and that the the naturally occurring percentage of forests >250 years would cover between 41 to 89 percent of Quadra Island.
