Details of permitted cutblocks on Quadra Island that have not yet been logged

TimberWest is constantly engineering and seeking Ministry of Forests approval for new cutblocks. Once TimberWest has received a cutting permit it must log the permitted area within 4 years or it will need to reapply for that cutting permit. The list below shows all those “Active” cutblocks that have been permitted but not yet logged, or have recently been logged. Scroll to the left for more details. This list shows three cutblocks as “active” but that are more than 4 years old. There are also currently 18 additional cutblocks for which TimberWest is seeking cutting permits.
