Clear Lake old-growth Douglas-fir grove

This grove of old-growth Douglas-firs is in Main Lake Provincial Park. The project has explored only part of the grove, but in the area that has been examined (about 100 trees), this tree (video below) appears to be the largest. It has a circumference at breast height of about 28 feet. A drone flight (see video below) established its height at about 270 feet (90 metres). Its age is estimated at about 800 years.
