Tom and Maggie Leask, District Lot 137

MOST OF WHAT IS KNOWN about Thomas and Maggie Leask is from research done by Quadra Island writer and historian Jeanette Taylor for her book, The Quadra Story. Taylor's account of Leask's arrival on Quadra, his marriage to Maggie Norman, their subsequent premature deaths (five years apart) and the struggle of their five children to survive on their parents' Hyacinthe Bay farm is here.
