Getting there: From Heriot Bay follow Hyacinthe Bay Road north. Turn left onto Walcan Road. Watch for the sign on the right indicating the first trailhead parking lot. There's another trailhead at the east end of Reed Lake, xx kilometres up the road. And there's a third access point at the west end of Mud Lake, although there is no formal parking lot or signage.
