    THE COMPLEX of hiking and mountain-biking trails in the Morte Lake-Chinese Mountain area have been developed since the late 1980s. The trails are maintained by the Quadra Island Recreation Society's Trails Committee and mountain biking groups. The image below shows the various trails. Intersections are marked with yellow dots. Distances between intersections are shown. Click the image below to enlarge.
