There are a few species of animals that are not considered “endangered” or “threatened” or even “species of concern.” But they may be in danger of extirpation on individual islands as a result of the loss of habitat caused by clearcut logging. See this page for the record of occurrence of cougar, wolves, bears and other species that may be in danger of extirpation.
